Small, Certain Joys and Things to Look Forward to in Life

My roommate was also laid off, and I’m preparing to move. I’m looking forward to my new home (a still-unknown place, I don’t know where my next little nest will be).
I look forward to my passive income covering my living expenses, and I look forward to the daily returns from my investment funds (whether they rise or fall).
Every morning, I check the traffic on my blog and public account, observing the long-term effects of compound interest.
When I was young, I loved to plant all sorts of flowers and plants. The first thing I did every day after waking up was to go to the field and squat down, carefully observing their movements (new progress). They grew taller, a new branch sprouted, a new root went into the soil. Every change made me very happy. I would stay like that for half an hour, and when I stood up, I’d be so dizzy I couldn’t straighten my legs.
I hope to learn some useful knowledge from books again.
I hope to discover new needs while browsing websites I frequent, like Reddit, X, and V2EX.
I get it now—how some people see those interesting little gadgets on Pinduoduo for just a few yuan and can’t resist buying them again and again.
To live, you must always have something to look forward to, so that life can go on.
